  What a beautiful find, these gardens have been on my "weekend" to do list for quite some time & I'm so glad family & I finally made the visit . Meandering paths through well looked after & enormous range of plants. Some steepish paths , but all ok if you take your time. Take your camera. Enjoy the beauty the caretakers have created

  It's a sizeable park and hopefully Parks Vic are up to keeping it in decent condition. It seems at the moment they are not.

  The park, while very impressive needs some decent manhours put into its lacking upkeep. Too many leaves and waste buildup crowding garden beds, fallen branches not disposed of, ponds which are empty, lake that needs a good clean out etc etc.

  Nice garden but at the time of my visit, it was a bit shabby, with some renovations going on and some paths closed. It wasn't possible to walk all the way around the pond. Has a lot of potential but needs some TLC.

  Well I'm not impressed. Been to so many places in the Dandenong ranges area, and this is by far my least favorite. The garden is not taken care of. The paths are steep and rough. Some are even closed. Barely any facilities. The toilets are along the main path near the entrance which is not practical if you're having a picnic by the lake, especially that the way back up is not easy. If you have a baby don't go there. The only pretty site is the lake and it's surroundings. Other than that it is not a worth a visit.

  A beautiful place to go to unwind and relax away from the busy citylife..gardens and paths etc are well maintained. Take a blanket and picnic and sit down bottom by lake. You wont get much phone signal by lake which is a bonus :)
